Four Crazy Cats - Opened our gift!

Our Secret Paws package arrived while mom was in Japan. We bugged her the minute she arrived home to open it...she caved in and we opened it yesterday! We were all excited to see who sent our gift to us...it was Laila and Minchie!!

Tanner was most excited about the nip nanner! He loved to lick it all over...

The fevver balls were a hit too...they really fly across the room!

Devon loved the nip nanner too when he got a turn...

Cousin Sophie loved the treats and the mice...

Tanner took a nap with his fevver ball...

Devon tried to squeeze into the box...he was too big.

Smokey chowed down on the treats...Beachside Crunch is his favorite!

Hey, I'm all out over here...I need some more please...

We Love Our Presents!

Charlemagne, Tamar and Mal here. We got our Secret Paws package from the McKitten Cats (Jasper, Josie, Huggy Bear and Maggie) just a few days before Christmas. Our Momma told us that we had to wait until Christmas to open the box and put it away where we couldn't tear into it before then. (We have a habit of doing that if treats or nip is involved!)

Since we're not the bestest of buddies yet (Momma and Daddy keep hoping), we alternated so that we all got equal time with the box and goodies.

(Momma's note: Charlemagne is our white and gray 5 ½ year old Maine Coon man around the house, Tamar is our tiger stripey 5 ½ year old Pixie Bob sweetheart of a girl and Mal is our 2 ½ year old gray rescue boy who loves Christmas.)

Where oh where has my Santa paws package been....

Hello everyone.. What do you think.. The mail service have somewhere been holding my Santa Paws package and decided to bring it for me today... The lovely Sheldon who is all the way from Poland sent me some pawsome goodies.There were actually two packages a small one and a larger one taped together. I got some jingly balls and some balls with feathers and a wand with feathers. Some lovely small mice which I love. There was a sweetie bar for mum and some organic treats for me. What a stash.. It may have been late because of the post but better late than never and it was Worth waiting for...

Mum is going to ask the vet if I can have these, they say they are all natural, no wheat, no sugar or additives, so fingers crossed....

The best thing of all for mum was that I actually got a jingly ball and a feather out of the package myself...I have shown no interest in my toys for an age but I did get these out. I have not played with them yet but hey... how fabulous was that...

I was exhausted after all the excitement and had to have a snooze.. the package envelope made a nice pillow..

We don't know where the package has been hiding but we are glad it came... Mum is waiting for three other packages to come. All posted from different parts of the USA on the 6th December and none arrived yet. hat is happening with the post, we know its Christmas but sheeesh..

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!

We got our Secret Paws package and Mom would not allow us to open it till today!

Kirby was protecting it till time to open it!

It has our name on it!

What is in there Mom?

They both jumped right in and started pulling goodies out!

There were two cans of Weruva food, On The Cat Wok and Grandma's Chicken Soup! We have never had this and can't wait for Christmas dinner! Two bags of treats, Crispies and Natural Purrz. All of the food except Crispies is grain free! Mom opened the Purrz and we loved them! There were three BLUE mice. Angel claimed the biggest one and even swatted Kirby when he wanted to look at it! And then there was a FAB Pet Thing! It is like a boogie mat but is is soft fleece!

It looks like Wendell's secret paw package was stolen. While I'm furious at UPS for leaving a package in an unattended lobby with an unlocked door, and at whatever Scrooge helped themselves to my cat's presents, I'm also annoyed at myself for not having the package sent elsewhere. I'm sorry to Wendell's generous secret paws person 'cause I know it's not the best time for her anyway. Tonight we're going to have potato pancakes and chicken and let the anger go, since it's not worth holding onto.

Well, after waiting and waiting for like FOREVER...mom finally let us open our Secret Paws gift on Christmas morning! We got lots of fun toys that we can play with...and there are tons of them so we won't have to fight over them. I got my most favorite thing in the whole wide world. Foam soccer balls. There was even a bag of nip!

How I love to carry the soccer balls in my mouth to the top of the stairs where I release them...and watch them bounce all the way down. Then I chase them...and catch them and bring them back to the top of the stairs so I can do it all over again.

We've been enjoying our toys...and Grete woofie...well...Grete has been sleeping on them!

OK, you can't have all of that just for yourself. Mum cut it open, it had some jingle balls and nip toys. Oh yeah, nip toys!!

We finally got to open our Santa Paws package from fourcrazycats.blogspot.com. We gots lots of goodies.

Here we are surveying all of our goodies, trying to decide which one to open first. If you biggify this picture, you can see where Sassy laid on top of some to keep me from seeing them.

One of our favorite toys we received was a pink fuzzy thingie. We both spent alot of quality time trying to subdue it.

Finally, here is a picture of my Mommie cruelly teasing me with some of the yummy treats Four Crazy Cats sent to us. Thank you Smokey, Devon and Tanner and your hoomins.

Our Secret Paws gift arrived last week but Mom wouldn't let us open it until Christmas Day. We didn't think we could wait that long, but somehow we managed to.

Our Secret Paw was Henry, Rosie and Charlie Dog from A House with Two Cats. They were great Secret Paw friends....they really paid attention to our "wish list" and gave us even more than we could imagine! Thank you so much to Henry, Rosie and Charlie Dog...you made our Christmas even more special.

Mom finally let us open our Secret Paws package from our new friends, Penelope and Kozmo, of Cat From Hell's Blog.

Holy carp! The box was stuffed with all kinds of goodies!!!

We sniffed and sniffed for quite some time all the interesting smells that came with it. In fact, at one point, we started smacking each other around because we didn't want to share all the great toys and treats with each other.

Mom even got a present! From Penelope and Kozmo's mom. A calendar of her cat paintings! Mom is so excited because this will be the calendar she keeps on our frig and will be able to see it every day! Thank you so much for all the pawsome goodies and most of all we are thankful for the wonderful new friends we have made!

Our Secret Paws 2011

Charlemagne, Tamar and Mal were our Secret Paws partners and they don't link their blogs to the Cat Blogosphere so we wondered if you could all ask them to join us there.

We were so excited when we opened theparcel and the first thing we found was this lovely pink blankie and Lucy tested it's softness by giving it a bunny kick

and then Hannah of course took it to bed after the excitement of opening all our presents and tried it out and gave it 4 paws up for a good nap

and then we found all the toys and there were some great red mouses.

which Lucy took into her tunnel to play with

There were also lots of different red balls - just look at this hairy one

Then Hannah took some toys up on the scratch post with her

because she said I was hogging them - as if I would do such a thing!!

We were very spoiled as there were 2 bags of mice and balls for us but mum put some away for when we've deaded the ones we got our paws on.

DMM and the Feline Americans

Hey, efurryone! It's ChristMaus an' Mom finally let us open the package that's been sitting beneath our ChristMaus tree for over a week!
Our Secret Paws for this year was our dear friends from Maryland: Ayla, Iza, Marley, an' their food dood, The Big Thing! You can find their bloggie at Mark's Mews!

We specified that we liked Temptations an' anything purple. Boy, did our furriends deliver, or what?!?

Charmee snoopervised the package and its tape removal process before climbing into the box with the presents. He said that he "was claiming them for France" even though he's never been to France, is not in fact a French cat, and the only thing he really KNOWS about France is the syrup on French toast. Goofy cow cat!

Anyway, the box was bursting with presents: a Kong toy with fev-vers on the ends, some catnip cigars with fev-vers, a bunch o' mousies, a Christmas stocking with all sorts of goodies in it, a stuffed racket toy for bunnykicking, an' the boys' favorite: 'nip puffballs to chase all over the house (Charmee really enjoyed the heck out of the wrapping paper and the box!

In addition to toys, there were three bags of treats inside, too! I get the kitten Temptations all to myself 'cuz Mom said so.

Mom even got a present in the box! She got some Godiva dark chocolate pearls that she said she WASN'T sharing with me! I'm her very best girlie, but she said "no" 'cuz chocolate's not for kitties. Whatever.

This has been an EXCELLENT Secret Paws! Happy Holidays to efurryone an' a big shout out to Ayla, Iza, and Marley for the excellent goodies: You're right, guys! The Big Thing CAN remember two things!

Eric and Flynn: Opening our Secret Paw Package.

Christmas morning arrived and at last we were allowed to open our Secret Paw present. It was from Tia and Millie at Cuddles and Catnip. We had never met them before so it was lovely to meet some new friends as well as get a wonderful package from them. They put this letter in for us, and there is a picture of Tia on the back which you will see in a minute.

Come on mum, hurry up and get our package open.

Eric: Look, lovely paper to play with.

Flynn: Yes, some for me too.

Get the box open mum, we want to see what is in it.

Eric: sniff sniff, smells interesting.

Flynn: Look! We've got a cube. I'm first in.

Eric: I'm right behind you.

Flynn: I'm back in again while Eric is checking presents.

I like it in here.

We have got a huge fish and it smells very interesting. Can you take it out of the package mum. It is full of very soft stuffing which smells nippy. One side is soft for napping on and the other side is hessian and very good for bunny kicking.

Eric: While you are giving the fish a good bunny kicking, I am going to check out all these other lovely gifts.

Look, an Eric sized box!! Usually they are too small for me so Flynn has them, but this one looks just right.

Oh yes, I think I am going to like this box.

I will be very comfy in here.

We got a wand too with a ball on the end with flashy lights and fevvers. I really like this toy.

Flynn: I have found more nip! It is like red felty ribbons with a ball full of nip in the middle.

Eric: While Flynn is getting all nipped up I am going to keep playing with the wand toy.

Hehe! I pulled it out of dad's hand.

We had two little sparkly mousies too. I am having a chew on the red one.

I like this mousie. Flynn can have the gold one.

Flynn: I am going to bunny kick the big fishie again. It looks like Eric has tired himself out.

I have found more fevvers! They are on a rope ball.

My turn to play with the wand toy now.

Hehe! Eric has got out of the box so I am taking it over.

And I am going to play with his red mousie too.

Just look at all the presents we got. That is a picture of Tia in front of the cube. As well as the toys we shown you, we got a nippy mouse and two rattly balls. We got lots of treats too. We got Dreamies and a cracker with turkey chewy treats in it. We got a stocking which had the sparkly mousies and the rattly balls in it as well as catnip treats and milk drops. There was a carton of turkey gravy in it as well. We have never had that before so we are going to try it tomorrow.

There is a present for our Beans too.

Isn't that the prettiest little Christmas cake! Tia and Millie said it was to make sure the Beans didn't eat our treats!

We received our Secret Paws gift about a week and a half ago, but Mom and Dad made us wait to open it until mid-week last week. We got some amazing gifts from Sparkle the Designer Cat! We got nip mice and nip sticks and sardines and Greenies, and best of all, a copy of Sparkle's book!

China Cat and I received our Secret Paws gift!

The doorbell rang and I had to run and hide under the bed because the doorbell means someone might come in my house. But no one came in so I carefully made my way back to the living room.

There was a big box and it was just for us! I was sad when my Food Lady said that we couldn't open it up right away. She said that we have to wait until it's Christmas. I am going to guard it until it's Christmas!

China Cat and I kept watching the box and now today is Christmas Eve. Hooray! That means tomorrow is Christmas and we get to open the big box!

I think we should have been able to open it as soon as it arrived...

We got pawsome gifts wow! We are lucky kitteahs - 2 bags of treats, nips, curly toys, bouncy mousie, tweety bird toy, loofah toy, bitey ball and crinkle pocket blankie!!! Even our Humom got some gifts! Chocolate kitty bars NOM! Cute kitty paper and puurrty smelling lotion! We love all our purresents and so does Mom, thank you so much to Mom Debra, Abby, Boo, Peng, Jenx & Gracie!!!

Zulu is a super jumper!! The Hooman put the loofah fishie toy on our toy fishing pole to swing around fur us. Dis is one of our furravorite ways to play wif our toys!

Hi Maxwell here I going to tell you all about are great seecreat paw It was form Callie and Trouble and boy was it loaded we had to weight to open it But boy am i glad we did I took all the gifts for my self and Let Lilly Lu have the treats

It was loaded with balls mousies and Nip I do love my nip Howeber our favorit toy was a toy a fish on a rope spring we played this every day evern LL like it and she never likes toy

There was a bed for LL but i took it becuse she has enough and I own the house and all the bed. I think it a good thing cause santa left me a letter toay on my blog and i have a felling this might be the only loot i get since LL is so bitable

Yes, our Mom is a slacker. This is the post we had on our blog. Since then, we received OUR package in the mail but Mom says we can't open it until Christmas!! We're not sure we can wait that long!!!! We also heard from the recipient of our package and they received it and will be opening theirs on Christmas too!! We hope effurycat and woofie and bean finds the presents they wished for under their tree! Merry Christmas!

On Sunday we helped Mom get our Secret Paws package ready to mail.

The Poupounette Gang: When a package arrived from the UK, we opened it to find all kinds of goodies for cats but no card or return address. We guessed it must be from our Secret Paws partner but it took us several days to discover who that was! It was Big Fat Ginger Cat! We were not familiar with him or his blog so it was a fun discovery!

Anyway, we got quite a stash of fun gifts, including a tunnel and a cube!

Mum brought this big package in with her today when she went to get the post.

It looks very interesting so we checked it out.

It's for us? Really?? Mum just told us it is our Secret Paw package. Yippee!!!

She's a spoilsport though because she told us we have to wait until Christmas Day before we can open it. We will just have to content ourselves by sniffing it. We don't know who it is from yet because there is no name on the outside, and mum doesn't recognise the address, but thank you to whoever sent it. We can't wait for Christmas Day to come.

Our Santa Paws package arrived the other day from those dashing English mancats Eric and Flynn. First mum said we had to wait until Christmas to open it, but we sulked and she relented.

Hi, sorry we haven't been posting but our poor Grammom has been in pain for 2 weeks. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital on December 9th and released to my pawrents pleas to keep testing her. She again was taken yesterday morning after Mom and Dad helped her get a MRI in an open unit which showed proof she had a compression in her back! Our Secret Paws Present is going out today and we know he will be happy 'cause Mommy did great shopping on line to make the twenty dollars far! =^Y^=
Mommy hope to at least post tonight on our blog. Pleeeeese everyone, pawz together that our Grammom gets back with no more pain by Christmas....Thank you so much!

Secret Paws Package The Opening!

I have been waiting and at last my secret paws package arrived! I know this is for me as the front of the box says "Gracie".

I am trying to get the mom's attention so she can help me open the box. It is hard to do with paws so her fingers are needed for this job! It seemed like hours until we got down to business but she said it was a few minutes . . .

. . . What's this? A card that says "From The Bengal Trio~Luna, Zulu, and Eddie. Upon further investigation I found several lovely wrapped gifts inside the box . . .

. . . this is the must open first gift as I just cannot get enough of that wonderful smell! Oh, I sure hope it is what I am thinking . . .

YES! It is!! A catnip cigar! Boy oh boy do I really enjoy the nip!!! Please excuse the crazy look on my face but I just cannot help myself!

. . . all my gifts were purrfect! I got two nippies! A cigar and a bananna!! I also have a package of balls that have bells in them and a sack of treats!!!

Oh, there was one more bonus present, the gift wrapping! I loved playing in the papers, they make such a neat noise and are so much fun to hide under.

My Parcel Arrived!!

This morning, Mum went to the Post Office to pick up a package, and there was a bit of confusion. She gave the man the card, and he rummaged behind the counter and produced a box. He was looking a bit confused. He asked Mum what her name was, so she told him. He then said "are you sure?" Mum's looking at him like he's got two heads now, as obviously she knows what her own name is. Then he says "do you know what this is?" - seems he's not going to give it to her until she comes up with the right name. Then the penny drops. Oh, she says, it's for the cat, it will be addressed to the Big Fat Ginger Cat!! Obviously this is the right answer. By now, there are 8 people queued up behind her, all of whom are laughing. It's the cat's Secret Santa package, she says. More laughter! Mum comes home, very quickly.

Anyway, it's a big box, bigger than me even, and that's saying something. Mum woke me up to have a look.

It's a heavy box was well, so it must be full of lots of fantastic goodies.

I've had a good old sniff, but Mum won't let me open it right now. She says we have to wait for Christmas, or until Dad comes home, at least.

We've done a bit of detective work, so we know it's come from the gang at Forty Paws, all the way from Texas. So, a big big thank you to them for sending their package all this way.

Once Mum has let me open it, I will tell you all what's in it.

Our Secret Paws Gift Arrived!

Happy dancing! Our Secret Paws gift arrived! Mom showed us the box and she has been letting us sit on the box. We like being near it.

Mom will NOT let us open before Christmas. We think this is NOT FAIR! As you can tell, mom peeked inside so she knows what's in there.

Do you know how mean she is? She's going to wrap up the whole box and put it under the tree so we can't open until Christmas morning. She says it's more fun if you wait until the big day.

Whatever.

She did let us know that our Secret Paw came from Lilly Lu, Maxie, Iris, Callie Rose, Mikey, Mickey and Honey-Suckel

Hello everyone. wanted to show you that we did get my secret Santa on its way. Mum said that because I am ill it was not as much as we wished but she didn't want to disappoint my secret Santa so we dashed it together and set it on its way a couple days ago. It has to go a long way so we hope it gets there on time. Hope our secret Santa enjoys. I even felt up to a look to check it was OK..

Here we are inspecting it. Our mean Mommie says we have to wait until Christmas to open it!

So that we keep the secret in Secret Paws, we turned the package over so that the return address does not show, but if you drew our name, rest easy - it arrived.

P.S. It has rained all day today here in Texas. The package got a little wet, but not enough to hurt anything.

Our mom went out in the pouring rain this morning to mail our Secret Paws package. The postal clerk thought it was so cutely decorated and got a big kick out of it. Mom has tons of stickers because she loves to scrapbook!

We finally finished our Secret Paws shopping and helped Mom Paula pack everything. We gave the package our seal of approval (there are probably some silver shaded floofs in the box, too) and have instructed Mom Paula that she must get it in the mail tomorrow (Wednesday)!

Mum bought everything last week to go in our Secret Paw package. We checked it all to make sure it met with our approval, and of course we added a bit of our smells to it to make it more personal. We sent it off on Friday so it should arrive by the weekend. We hope our Secret Paw likes it.

So the Human actually went shopping, got a box from work, packed everything and, most impawtant, let me inspect it and scent it up just a little. We're all excited!
Now, hmmmm, will she get it in the mail today? I told her that's the really crucial part of the whole Secret Paws deal, but sometimes she's frustratingly obtuse. Sigh.

Update: It *DID* get into the mail! Hurray!! She's not a total slacker after all.

I'm a little happy because I got some incredible deals at the shelter so I get to send lots of gifties and I spent itty bitty bits of money and I get to make some kitty (or kitties) very happy and I get to support the shelter :)

We sent mum shopping today for our Secret Paw. We are making her take some time so we get to put our card inside before she takes it off to the station. She said she will finish the box up today and then take it early next week.

We hope our new pal will like what we sent mum to get for them. Lots of goodies and we purrsonally approved of them all.

We have sent our parcel - we hope that customs will not be nosey as the parcel has to go a long way! We wanted to send reindeer and moose, as we love eating them but thought we just be safer with some toys. Thank you, Truffle & Brulee and of course Mom Paula for organising this great event.

Much excitement in the BFGC's house this morning, as Mum packaged up our Secret Paws package ready to post on Monday. Obviously I can't say where it's going, but it's going to a fine looking kitty or kitties (see what I did there!).

There's some good nip stuff in there - I am oblivious to nip, but Next Door Kitty got quite excited and had to be forcibly removed from the box! It's all very exciting, and we had to have some treats to celebrate.

I am looking forward to receiving my package! And, of course, big purrs and headbutts to Truffle and Brûlée (or rather Truffle & Brûlée's Mum) for sorting all this out for us.

I'm just soooo glad to be here! ;-D

Daddy is tired after a long day away from the house, and Nikita is napping, having decided it would be good experience for me to do a post on this Blogger thing. ;-D

We got our Secret Paws notification, and Nikita has told me all about our Secret Paws, and why he's glad this was the one we got.

Very interesting to say the least. ;-D

Daddy, Nikita, and I have been discussing where we want to take our blog in 2012, and we look forward to an interesting year.

For those who do not know Nikita is 13 1/2 (I'm going to be 2 in February! I was rescued off Daddy's front doorstep in July 2010.), and has been online since just a few monnths after he was adopted as a kitten, & Daddy got his first computer.

When Daddy took up blogging, in 2002, Nikita was part of the team, though not very often, until around 2004/5.

Between 2004 & 2006 the early cat blogging community was coming into being, and Daddy now wishes he'd given Nikita his own place THEN, not in Jan. 2010. ;-D

We are very proud of Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat, and I'm proud to be doing my part under the tutelage of Nikita, & Daddy Kiril ;-D

I even have some of my posts under my own archive category so everyone can easily find them!

Anyway, we just sent out more than 35 Chrissymouse Cards to fellow Cat Bloggers around the world as part of another Cat Bloggers Holiday Sharing, and look forward to getting cards in return.

We got just learned who our Secret Paws are and we are thrilled! We printed the email, circled their preferences with a big fat marker (the only kind we can handle in our paws) and will visit their blog later to search out more details of "their favrit things".

This is so eciting! We have instructed TBT that he must get up EARLY tomorrow (which means like 10 am) to go out hunting the stuff we will list for him to find. We hope he can finds "similar but different" things iffen ya know what we mean...

UPDATE: TBT just came back from hunting, with THREE bags. (OK, one was full of paper fer Chrissymouse cards, tape, and printer inks). He puts away stuffs fer other Beins too.
